When selecting dining chairs, you should test the construction and make sure that they don’t wobble. Pick up the chairs and find out if they are heavy. Heavy chairs indicate that they are made of solid wood. Besides that, don’t forget to check the chair joints.
The Specialty Sandwich Co. is a great place to eat in, for dinner around me with the family, or stop and pick up a picnic lunch. The restaurant is set up so you order at the counter and pay for your food. The will call you up when the food is ready. I have also been there when they brought the food to the table.
At times this bar and grill can get a bit rowdy, but in a good way. If you are a wall flower then this might be the place to let your hidden inner good time enjoying self loose. Great people and great service at reasonable prices is what makes Sharkeez one of the best places to eat at.
This Sunday, as a special deal for Labor Day weekend, patrons who show up in their PJs for Sunday brunch will get ten percent off. That has to be a first in the restaurant world.
Use the pool scoop to ‘rough up’ the water and make ripples across the pool surface. This reflects the light and adds sparkle and interest to the water.
Calling all antique lovers! If you have someone special on your list who loves antiques, look no further than downtown West Branch. There are several antique shops on Houghton Avenue, but my favorite is the Potato Barn Antique Mall. The mall is adorable, and the atmosphere alone is worth the trip. Fortunately, their prices are reasonable and are much better than the Bay City Antique Mall.
There are a number of drawbacks, however. Firstly, during peak dinner times, the wait for a table can be excrutiatingly long (think one to two hours). On weekend nights while the college is in session, the bar can be completely inaccessible. This is due both to the proximity to the college and to the small size of the bar. Other bars close to the college, such as the Flying Bull Saloon and the Blue Parrot Bistro, don’t have this problem as much due to their size and efficiency.
